Domain Selection


Specifies the source domain and target domain for the selected task. The options are defined as follows:

Source domain

Specifies the name of the source domain. When migrating accounts, the source domain indicates the domain from which the account information is migrated. Specify a valid Windows NT or Windows Server 2003 family domain. You may type the domain name or select it from the list.

In the Security Translation Wizard and the Exchange Directory Migration Wizard, type the domain of the service accounts, not the domain of the computers on which the service accounts are running.

Target domain

Specifies the name of the target domain. When migrating accounts, the target domain indicates the domain to which the account information is migrated. Specify a valid Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 family domain that is running in native mode. You may type the domain name or select it from the list.
